Alright, so I was looking into this whole “Union Bulldogs football” thing, and let me tell you, it turned into a bit of a rabbit hole. First, I started off just trying to find their schedule for this year.
I went to their official athletics website, you know, the one for the “Union University Bulldogs.” They’ve got all the sports listed there, nice and organized. You’ve got your:
- Baseball
- Basketball
- Cross Country
- Golf
- Soccer
- And of course, Football
So, I clicked on the football section, expecting to find a simple schedule. It listed out all the years, from way back when I was still in high school, you know, 2006-07 all the way to the upcoming 2024-25 season. I clicked into the 2024-25 schedule, expecting to find dates and opponents.
I found out that they will host Reinhardt on Saturday, Nov. 16th. It sounds like a big game!
But, then I got distracted, which always happens. I started looking at the schedules from previous seasons, and it’s wild to see how many games they play and how much traveling they do.
Then I thought, “I wonder where I can get tickets?” I stumbled upon another page, saying tickets for a game at Morehead State are on sale until 4 p.m. on Wednesday. So, if you’re near Morehead State and want to see the Union Bulldogs play, you better hurry up!
I spent a good chunk of time just clicking around, looking at scores from past games. I found a website that provides amateur sports teams with free team websites to post schedules, scores, news, photos, and videos. It was so cool to see.
Anyway, I ended up spending way more time on this than I planned. But hey, at least now I know a bit more about the Union Bulldogs football team, and maybe I’ll even try to catch a game sometime.
