Alright, so I wanted to keep track of the LSU versus Mississippi State football game. It’s a big rivalry, and I always like to have a record of these things.
First, I started by setting up my “game day” essentials. You know, got the TV on the right channel, made sure my favorite armchair was in the optimal viewing position. Had to have my snacks ready – a big bowl of popcorn and some cold drinks.
Then, I grabbed my trusty notebook and a pen. I like to jot down scores, big plays, and any other interesting moments during the game. Old school, I know, but it works for me.
The game kicked off, and I was locked in. Every time a team scored, I’d scribble down the details. “LSU touchdown! 6 points!” or “Mississippi State field goal, 3 points.” I also noted down who scored, how they scored and what times.
First Half
It was back and forth in the first half. I was busy with my notebook, making sure I didn’t miss anything.
-
LSU scored a touchdown early, so I wrote, “7:52 1st Quarter – LSU TD, 7-0.”
-
Then Mississippi State answered back, “3:22 1st Quarter – Miss State FG, 7-3.”
-
LSU extended their lead, “11:45 2nd Quarter – LSU TD, 14-3.”
-
Miss State had a good drive before half, “0:30 2nd Quarter – Miss State TD, 14-10.”
I was getting really into it, yelling at the TV like I was part of the coaching staff.
Second Half
The second half was even more intense. More points on the board, and my notebook was filling up fast.
-
LSU got a quick touchdown, “12:58 3rd Quarter – LSU TD, 21-10.”
-
Mississippi State started to rally, “8:44 3rd Quarter – Miss State TD, 21-17.”
-
LSU answered, “2:15 3rd Quarter – LSU TD, 28-17.”
-
Miss State kept fighting, “14:55 4th Quarter – Miss State TD, 28-24.”
-
LSU pulled away again, “10:20 4th Quarter – LSU TD, 35-24.”
-
Miss State wouldn’t quit, “4:52 4th Quarter – Miss State TD, 35-31.”
-
LSU sealed it, “1:05 4th Quarter – LSU FG, 38-31.”
-
A last second Hail Mary! “0:00 4th Quarter – Miss State TD, 38-37.” No, they missed it! “0:00 4th Quarter – Miss State 2-point conversion failed, 38-37.”
I tried to describe the key plays and how the momentum shifted. It was a nail-biter for sure! I managed to record it all like I always do.
At the end of the game, I had a full page of notes. It was a great game, and I was glad I could record all the important details. Now I have a permanent record of the LSU versus Mississippi State game that I can look back on. I really enjoy doing this for all the big games. It’s like my own little sports journal.
And that’s how I kept track of the LSU Mississippi State football score. It might not be the most high-tech method, but it’s my way of enjoying and remembering the game. Until next time!
